Our organization began working with Donor Database Experts in 2021, as we were preparing for a database conversion. Initially, we signed contracts to move forward with implementing a membership tracking software. The DDX consultants working with us immediately brought up important concerns about the conversion to that database. Another area where Donor Database Experts truly shines is in crisis management. One memorable instance was the day before a major fundraising event. Just as I thought everything was ready, Blackbaud made major site changes, locking me out of the system. I had no access to the table assignments or attendance lists. I reached out to them in a panic, not sure if they’d respond in time because it was outside of business hours. To my surprise, they responded promptly the next morning and immediately began troubleshooting. Our consultant worked tirelessly to find a workaround, getting me back into the system just in time. That’s the level of dedication and problem-solving we can always count on from Donor Database Experts. Without their quick thinking, our event would have been a jumbled mess.
